Dr. Kasra Taghikhani is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. His research focuses on electro-chemo-mechanical modeling and the mechanics of advanced battery materials, with emphasis on solid-state batteries, diffusion-induced fracture, coupled transport phenomena, and multiphysics simulation frameworks.
