Dr. Robert J. Kee is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and holds the George R. Brown Distinguished Chair at the Colorado School of Mines. His research focuses on modeling and simulation of chemically reacting fluid flow for clean-energy applications, including fuel cells, advanced combustion, and electrochemical and materials-processing systems. His work connects elementary chemical and electrochemical kinetics with transport phenomena to advance next-generation energy technologies.
”Our calculations are exact — for the parameters that we have assumed.”
”That’s a great story. Now let’s finish it — and then go find the next one.”
”Pull that research together and you won’t be going to graduation — you’ll be going to Stockholm.”
